Retiring Members of Staff
Two valued members of Scoil Ruáin’s staff, Ms. Olive Cornelia and Ms. Bridget O’Neill, retired at the end of this school year. Olive who led the French Department taught both French and Irish while Bridget taught English, History and Irish. Both devoted over 60 years of loyal teaching service to the school teaching to the highest standards and having excellent knowledge of their subject areas and beyond. They were very highly regarded by their pupils as they encouraged them in many ways both inside and outside the classroom by their involvement in numerous extra-curricular activities and events over the years.
Scoil Ruáin would like to thank both Olive and Bridget for having contributed enormously to the life of the school by devoting themselves selflessly to their students. We would like to thank them for their friendship, help and support and wish them both a long, happy and healthy retirement.
