Fifth Year Trip to Manchester
On Friday March 1st 2019, a group of 27 students from 5th year and three teachers, Ms. Gubbins, Mr. White and Mr. Corcoran travelled to Manchester, England for a school trip. On the first evening they went on a tour of Old Trafford Football stadium where they experienced first- hand this iconic stadium. They stayed in a lovely hotel in Wigan. On the following day they toured around Manchester and got an opportunity to do some shopping before the highlight of the weekend was the match between Manchester United v Southampton. They viewed the game from the very top of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand, and the atmosphere was just electric. Where Man United coming out as winners with a 3-2 victory. They returned home on Sunday evening tired but elated. A great trip was had by all.
