Students from both 5th and 6th Year visited Cabra Wetlands Thurles as part of their Biology and Ag Science Courses for Leaving Cert. It is great to have such a valuable resource so close to our school. It was a great opportunity to get a first hand experience in carrying out ecology experiments in such a rich and diverse environment. A very worthwhile day was had by all. A big thanks for all the science teaching staff who organised the viisit – Ms. O’Neill, Mr. Treacy, Ms. Jordan and Ms. Horan.
