Scoil Ruáin wishes to acknowledge the great support that both Camida and Godolphin provide to our students. This support is not only the financial sponsorship of our student awards and 3rd level scholarships, but also at different times throughout the year they provide presentations and mentoring to our entire student body. We are grateful to both companies for their ongoing support and commitment to our students as they take the next step on their journey to their Third Level education.
Presentation to Ms. Joan Costigan Career Guidance Teacher
Our awards ceremony finished with a presentation by Student of the Year, Robert Pollard, of a bouquet of flowers to Ms. Joan Costigan who is retiring at the end of this school year. Joan has been a valued staff member of our school for 35 years and her advice and counselling has been invaluable to our students as they navigated their way through secondary school and onwards to their future careers. We would like to thank Joan for all her dedication and commitment to our school and we wish her good health and happiness in her retirement. She will be greatly missed.
