Hurling Updates
Well done to our U15 hurlers who beat Glanmire in round 1 of the Munster Hurling Championship on a score line of 2-13 to 3-2. Played in Ballyporeen, conditions were difficult with Scoil Ruáin playing against the strong breeze in the first half. The Killenaule players were lucky to go in at half time 2 points up after giving away 2 soft goals. With the elements with them in the second half the Killenaule lads got a firm grip on the game and never let up to the final whistle to comfortably win by 8 points. Round 2 is due to be played on February 5th against either Pallaskenry or Scariff.
