Scoil Ruáin had a narrowest of victories against a very good Pallaskenry side in the U15 Munster Football 1st round. The teams were level at halftime – Scoil Ruáin 4pt to Pallaskenry’s 1-1. Deep into injury time with the teams level still Scoil Ruáin Killenaule won a free which was calmly converted by captain Fionn Fitzgerald. Scoil Ruáin had to defend one more Pallas attack before the relief and joy of the final whistle. The final score line read Scoil Ruáin 3-9 to Pallaskenry’s 4-5. Scores came from Fionn Fitzgerald 4pt (2 f), Sam Rowan 2-2, Nathan Barrett 1pt, Luke Fitzgerald 1pt and Oisin Lyons 1-1
