Today is our second last day and we packed it full of visits to some more of the amazing educational projects and protection homes that the Hope Foundation have established here in Kolkata. We started the morning with a visit to the Mother and Child Unit where we met with beautiful, smiling little angels who sang twinkle twinkle and so many more nursery rhymes. We went on from there to a fantastic project that is a drop in centre for children like a homework club and I was in full teacher mode listening to their reading and helping to answer their written questions. Lunch was in Life Skills again and they all got a second chance to spend their rupees in the Hope shop. Our final visit of the day was to Kasbah, a girls home for exquisite young girls from 5 to 13 years. It was wonderful to be recognised by some of the girls from last year. There was more dancing and Hokey Kokey carry on and some photos and even some hair braiding. It gets a little harder each time to say goodbye to each project as we know we will leave soon. All the students are really seeing where their fundraising money is going and can witness the need for our continued support of the Hope Foundation.
